Lactic Acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), gently exfoliates the skin to promote a smoother, more radiant appearance. This 10% formulation delivers mild yet effective exfoliation and is enhanced with a purified Tasmanian Pepperberry extract, which helps reduce signs of inflammation and sensitivity often linked to exfoliation.

The formula maintains a pH of approximately 3.8, closely aligned with the pKa of Lactic Acid (also 3.8). This balance optimizes acid efficacy while minimizing the risk of irritation. Interestingly, a higher pH would actually increase salt content, leading to greater irritation — despite being less acidic.

Ideal For:

• Skin Types: Normal, Dry, Combination, Oily

• Skin Concerns: Fine lines and wrinkles, dullness, uneven texture

Important Note:
While Lactic Acid offers visible improvements quickly, we generally recommend indirect methods of exfoliation over direct acid use to minimize the potential for inflammation and sensitivity.

How to Use:

• Apply once daily, preferably in the evening.

• To reduce intensity, dilute with other treatments until skin builds tolerance.

• Avoid use on sensitive, peeling, or compromised skin.

• Avoid contact with the eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician.

• Apply only as directed to unbroken skin. Patch testing is recommended prior to use.

• Keep out of reach of children.

Sunburn Alert:
This product contains an AHA that may increase skin’s sensitivity to the sun and the risk of sunburn. Always use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for one week afterward.
